For those of you that know us you'll laugh at the concept of it being 'our first year', as in reality, we've been completing garden landscaping projects across Dorset and the Southwest for the last couple of decades (yes we are that old, despite our youthful good looks!)
Bespoke Outdoor Buildings, this new arm of our business was launched in 2020, following a growing number of clients requesting our team build them an outdoor living space to match or complement their new landscaping.
Frustrated by the standard ready-made garden rooms on the market, or out-priced by the higher-end designer Oak structures, we found clients were looking for cost-effective bespoke alternatives for their outdoor space.
Which is where our flexible approach came in, building with timber frames it means we can offer a fast, eco-friendly construction tailored to a client’s space or needs. Before we knew it demand grew, Bespoke Outdoor Buildings was born, and we haven’t looked back since. It’s been a great first year, filled with some great clients and projects.
As a company, we try and work with as many local suppliers as possible, which has certainly paid off this year. It’s been a privilege to support one another during this ongoing pandemic.
We are incredibly lucky to source local and sustainable timber from Linwood Sawmill, based near to our HQ here in Wimborne, Dorset. Our green roof specialist is also based here in East Dorset. Having them so close means despite lockdowns and travel restrictions we’ve still maintained the same high quality and standard, on every build we’ve completed.
What’s made this year so successful though, is our team! We are privileged to work with such a talented and dedicated bunch who keep spirits high come rain or shine! Thanks guys, here’s to another great year!
